As the first design for Africa doesn't fit with the style of Antarctica anymore, it needed a change of direction. I still wanted to use a savannah scene, but with more use of colour and depth. Africa will suffer a lack of biodiversity due to climate change, so the UV design needs to represent this.
A simple vector scene of a savannah with the iconic trees was produced. The UV design will show the remains of animals that once roamed the plains, e.g. the bones of an antelope.
Europe
Europe will experience drastic weather changes due to climate change, and will have large amounts of flooding. As Europe is a very historical continent with a lot of structures built hundreds of years ago, I decided that this design would feature a small stone bridge - a structure that will be relevant across the whole of Europe. For the UV design, the river flowing underneath will be overflowing, causing large amounts of disruption.
