As I had two illustrators agree to work on the project for me, I decided to split the workload between them. I sent a skeletal pdf copy of the booklet and what I had in mind for the project. I briefed them on what kind of design I wanted - loose, textured illustrations with details in fine-liner over the top.
As Beth had a lot of free time, she was able to deliver more illustrations than Meg at a quick rate. Her illustrations consisted of:
7 x borders
3 x colouring pages
1 x empty cake
1 x kaleasaurus rex
1 x eatwell plate
1 x empty dinner plate
1 x cover design
30 x food cut outs
8 x vegan sweets
