OUGD504 | STUDIO BRIEF 3 | BINDING

I decided to bind my book using the coptic method. I feel that it's the most appropriate, and will make my book look really special and interesting if done correctly. There is a risk of the book becoming loose and it not being very tactile, and if that's the case I'll have to review my options once it's been made.

The process was lengthy, but in the end the book tied together well and the spine looks impressive!

The binding could be tighter, although I think this is down to the thread I've used. The thread is very thin, so I used red and blue together. As there is a crit soon, I'll see what people think of my binding method, and if they could suggest any improvements.
